There is a growing awarness of the importance of traditional and indigenous knowledge and practices for adaptation. This is no gender neutral area. Have you have any example from your work in your local context of the link between gender and traditional knowledge and practices?

It is worth discussing this also amongst those working on gender in adaptation. Has anyone been working on this issue and could share some thoughts?
