Therefore, LCD requires a multi-dimensional approach in which the effects of LCD policies and measurements take environmental, social and gender benefits into account instead of merely treating them as co-benefits. Securing national and community support for LCD activities that take focus on economic, social and environmental benefits, such as clean air, health, job creation for women and men, livelihoods and cities for all.
